Project Description

Dornan were awarded the Main Electrical contract in 2019 for this mission critical DC project located in Denmark. The project involved delivery of the full electrical services both at MV & LV to allow for the successful turnover of the 60MW Facility. The project peaked at a resource level of 450No. Operatives and achieved 600,000+ Hours worked safely and without an LTI. The project utilised both in country specialist contractors and supply chain from neighbouring European countries. The project excelled on quality and as a result achieved its FR status with a Zero defect status.

Scope of Works

Early contractor involvement to support Design Development, Constructability studies, coordination
activities.
MV/LV Services installation – Containment, Cabling, Termination, Testing.
Supply, Installation and commissioning of the Bus Bar System.
Electrical equipment installed included transformers, associated back-up generators and back up
UPS systems.
Supply, Installation and commissioning of the Security, Fire, Voice Evacuation, Smoke Damper,
Emergency Lighting systems.
Management of the COHE/LOTO systems on site.
