MSD Shering Plough, Belgium

At its plant in Heist op den Berg in Belgium, MSD Shering Plough manufacturers capsules, ointments and creams for the healthcare sector. Dornan was commissioned to undertake HVAC and mechanical work to upgrade the site’s new sterile packaging facility.

Responsibilities included

• Design and delivery of a 3D model for the proposed HVAC installation, as well as installing all ducting, inline components and four custom-designed laminar airflow booths to provide Grade A operational areas
• Extension of black utilities, steam, condensate, chilled and hot water services to a new penthouse plant room serving the new sterile packaging area
