Lilly manufactures animal health products for its Elanco division in Speke, Liverpool. Dornan was the principal electrical contractor for the 2015 refurbishment of this facility.
Responsibilities included
- Management of subcontractors
- Installation of one free-issue MCC
- Installation of one central UPS
- Supply and installation of ladder rack, cable tray and other cable containment systems
- Supply, installation, glanding and testing of instrument and electrical cables
- Supply and installation of instruments, manifolds and push-button stations, including emergency stops
- Supply, installation and testing of normal and emergency lighting, fire alarm system, earthing materials, trace heating equipment, gas suppression and general services
- Supply and installation of transit blocks and frames
