Dragon LNG import terminal, Milford Haven

The Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) import terminal at Milford Haven in Wales receives, stores and regasifies LNG – a vital source of clean and reliable energy for the UK. Dornan was commissioned to upgrade the M&E infrastructure, including instrumentation, controls and automation. This will replace the current CHP system that will be decommissioned in line with tightening emissions regulations.

Responsibilities include

• Lead role in providing specialist pipework, including cryogenic lines
• Site steel work to support the installation of large specialist plant, including coolers and a compander unit
• Site-wide electrical and instrumentation works
• Site-wide pre-commissioning with the client
