Dornan completed the M&E fit-out of first floor data hall within the existing facility, including various scheduled shut-downs to integrate new switchgear and chilled water into the existing infrastructure. Complete project commissioning, including cause and effect between all the various systems and IST, was carried out prior to hand‐over, with all O&M documentation signed off at status A.

Mechanical scope included

• A new chilled water pipework system from existing plant room to new CRAC units
• Supply and extract plant and ductwork
• Pipework and duct insulation and cladding
• Gas suppression system and bottle store fit-out
• Underfloor leak detection including drip trays
• Installation and commissioning of all mechanical plant
• Pressurisation dampers, fire and motorised dampers, cold aisle floor grilles
• Pipework flushing and testing and integration with client’s existing system

Electrical scope included

• 4 splitter panels within existing DRUPS area
• PDU and CRAC feeder panels as well as PDU units within hall
• Automatic transfer switches
• Fire alarm, CCTV and access control systems
• Full cable containment and cabling systems
• General services and lighting systems
