Beaumont Hospital, Dublin

Dornan completed mechanical engineering works in a number of the hospital’s facilities, including the histocompatibility & immunogenetics and radiology departments, and the outpatients wing. The work was carried out alongside operational areas and integrated into existing live systems.

Works included

• LPHW, water services and medical gases pipework systems were upgraded and rerouted to suit the new layout
• Existing boilers and air handling equipment upgraded and replaced
• Ductwork routes and sizes altered to accommodate the revised layout and operational requirements
• Supply and installation of bedhead trunking and medical gases
• Supervision of all alterations to the existing building management system
• All services installed, tested and commissioned to HTM Standards
