| The mechanical works commenced in October 2006 following 6 weeks of enablement works both mechanical and electrical carried our by Dornan Engineering.
The facility constructed for Cordis Ireland Ltd is primarily constructed as a product development laboratory for their various hi-tech coronary care products. As a result, great emphasis was placed on providing and installing a mechanical services installation that provides flexibility for the end user, now and in the future, from the possibility of varying cleanroom conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.) to any future process equipment installation (process exhaust systems, specialist gas supplies, etc.). The mechanical systems associated with this project were planned, co-ordinated, installed, tested, commissioned, and documented to a standard to enable the end user to fully validate the faciity and its system. |

- HVAC air handling units & associated ducting systems
- Process exhaust fans including stainless steel exhaust lines
- Installation of CHW pipe work & integration into existing CHW plant/system
- Installation of LPHW pipe work & integration into the existing LPHW plant/system
- Installation of Cryogenic Nitrogen storage facility & plant
- Installation of compressed air plant
- Installation of process gas pipe work (Nitrogen, H.P. Nitrogen, Argon & Instrument Air)
- Domestic water pipe work
- Installation of HVAC & process instrumentaion
- Air & waterside commissioning of the above systems
