| This project was completed in three phases. Phase 1 (Carried out while owned Guidant) consisted of 4 cleanrooms of approx 7,000m2, the main Central utilities Building and links between existing building and the new. Phase 2 (Carried out while owned by Guidant) consists of 2 cleanrooms, extending existing cleanrooms built in Phase 1 (bringing the total cleanroom space to approx 10,000m2) and adding to the phase 1 Central Utilities Building. Phase 2 also added approx 2,000m2 of Office & Lab and 2,400m2 of Changing, Canteen and Kitchen Facilities. Phase 3 consisted of a new Warehouse/Cleanroom/Labs (2,340m2) and Office/Labs (4,245m2). To facilitate this we had to install more Chiller and Boiler Capacity in the CUB and connect via a pipe-bridge to the new building. We also installed a new primary compressed air installation to serve the existing building. We co-ordinated the installation and produced co-ordination drawings to ensure all the services were installed efficiently. | |
