The manufacturing sector has played a critical role in the development of the European economy over the past five decades in particular. It has made a significant contribution to employment growth, productivity, innovation, technological change and prosperity. Effective and innovative policies and supports are therefore required to ensure that manufacturing continues to play a central role in the European economy in the 21st century.

Over the last 20 years, Ireland has seen significant investment in the High Tech Industrial sector with companies such as Intel and Dell, amongst others, investing heavily. As a result of this level of investment, Dornan has been able to successfully complete a number of projects in this sector.

Dornan has developed high levels of mechanical and electrical skill sets for the execution of project within this business sector. Far from being a single activity, large scale construction is a feat of multitasking for which Dornan is skilled. For the successful execution of a project, we at Dornan consider effective planning to be essential. When involved with the design and execution of a project we consider the environmental impact of the project, the successful scheduling, budgeting, site safety, availability of materials, logistics, inconvenience to the public caused by construction and the preparation of the construction work packs, etc.
