Dornan has gained significant experience in this business sector. We have been involved in a number of major projects in the area of refinery installation and commissioning, onshore/offshore installations and pipe lines.

Dornan operates with clients and partners on drilling modules, pumping station refineries, platforms and pipelines to build the infrastructure required to access these natural reserves. We have completed projects in on-shore and off-shore facilities at green field sites and existing facilities (revamps, upgrades and ongoing maintenance) to provide our customers with all of their mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and HVAC requirements.

Dornan can provide committed international and local engineering and construction personal onto any project around the globe having the capability to take projects from inception thought to the commissioning and handover phase. Our particular expertise is in the area of electrical, instrumentation, SCADA systems, completions and commissioning services. Today Dornan provides specialist EPC, construction, completions and commissioning services, from onshore and offshore production facilities to upgrades, de-bottlenecking and commissioning services.

Dornan can also provide committed teams of commission and start-up personal who will typically reside in the owners home office to assist in the creation of the projects planning and tracking systems documentation before taking up the task of joining the project and construction team on site to managing the project systems through the construction, loop checking, commissioning and handover of each system to the end client. At Dornan Engineering, we call these teams “Our Red Hat Teams” as we will enter projects with the pacific task of taking a project from Construction to Handover System-by-System without any “A” item punch lists.
